July 2016

Hey all...

I've been working on getting more certifications for my business (study, study, study) and getting my new website up and running so this is going to be a short post.

You know how interested I am in genealogy and I needed a logo for my business so I decided to combine the two. In the process, I found a Pendleton "family" crest. [Originally, an English Coat of Arms or a crest was awarded to ONE person, but was made hereditary by King Richard I of England (1157 - 1199.) I don't know if we are descendants of the person who was awarded this crest and, therefore, authorized to use it.]

With that being said, I thought this was a cool design and decided to say "Screw it!" and use the crest anyway. So here it is.. I make NO guarantees that this is our "official" family crest. As I said, I just thought it would be a great logo. Everything on the shield has a significance and I will post something in the future that explains everything, [Is that enough of an incentive to keep checking back? :) ]

Happy Independence Day and have a GREAT July!

As always, keep in touch!

Paul

Oh, and a bit of shameless self-promotion... If you have a chance, check out my new website (www.PTASOnlineMN.com) and tell me what you think, It's still in the development stage, so everything could change. I'd really appreciate some brutal honesty! Send me an E-Mail and let me know if something is confusing or contradictory or how, in general, I can improve the site!
