I received an E-Mail from Pam (Sue) Heath about the upcoming family picnic.
The date will be Sunday, August 8th from 10 AM to around 3 PM at the Holland Town Hall on McHugh Road just west of Holmen, Wisconsin.
Pam says that she will have BBQs and buns, but you are on your own for grilling. Please bring your own lawn chairs, beverages and a dish to pass.
She also said that she was planning to do a raffle for the kids, so if you would like to donate a small toy or any other item, it would be GREATLY appreciated.
If you need directions or if you have any questions, please feel free to E-Mail me and I will forward it on to Pam.
Hope to see you all there!

August 2010 Quiz
I had so much fun figuring out compiling the answer to last month’s quiz, I decided to look back at ancestors to see what the most common male and female names were. I limited the search to just relatives, not including spouses.
So this month’s quiz is what are the most common male and female names overall?
-- ANSWER
At this point in time, I have about 25,000 names in the tree. The results this time were not quite as surprising.
For women, the most common name was Mary (280 people.) The next most common names were Sarah (150) and Elizabeth (72.)
For men, the most common name was William (272 people.) The next most common names were Charles (195) and John (157.)
I think that’s about as far as I can go with names.
